The Lauricella Land Company, LLC retains The Redford Golf Group, LLC to assist in creating a master plan for The Colonial Golf & Country Club.

New Orleans – Russell P. Redford Jr., one of the industry's leading golf executives and a force behind some of the most successful golf properties in the south, announced today that his Redford Golf Group (www.redfordgolfgroup.com) and The Lauricella Land Company, LLC are going to work together to revitalize The Colonial Golf & Country Club.

Earlier this year, The Lauricella Land Co. agreed to lend The Colonial Golf & Country Club, located on The Tchoupitoulas Plantation, the $4.4 million needed to pay off its debts. Today, the Lauricella Land Company (www.lauricella.com) is taking another step to fulfill its goal of bringing life back to the 88-acre golf course. "We are pleased to find a partner like The Redford Golf Group. Russell Redford and his team are experts in evaluating golf properties and providing a perspective that is sometimes overlooked," stated Louis V. Lauricella, Director of Development – Lauricella Land Company. The Redford Golf Group will work directly with the Lauricella Land Company to help develop a master plan that will include golf, residential, and country club amenities.

Redford, the former Chief Operating Officer for the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, launched his consulting company in January of 2005 for the primary purpose of creating a corporate identity that would accurately reflect his professional values and beliefs. Establishing a specialized consulting venue was the perfect platform to utilize his extensive development, management and operational background. Russell Redford's extensive knowledge of the New Orleans' community, through his previous work as the head golf professional at the New Orleans Country Club and his assistance with the revitalization of the Audubon Nature Institute, will bring The Colonial Golf & Country Club an expert in the New Orleans community.
